KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Dairy Cattle Farmer at Aurora Dairies, you will:
- Manage and care for dairy cattle, ensuring animal health and welfare
- Assist with all aspects of milking operations
- Undertake animal health checks, treatments, and accurate record-keeping
- Feed and manage cattle nutrition requirements
- Contribute to pasture and feed management
- Operate farm machinery and equipment safely
- Carry out routine repairs and maintenance on farm assets
- Uphold and follow safe operating procedures at all times

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This role involves:

REQUIRED SKILLS & CAPABILITIES
Aurora Dairies is seeking candidates who have:
- Minimum 5 years of dairy industry experience (essential)
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or equivalent (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of animal health, welfare, and safe farm practices
- Skills in milking, feeding, and pasture management
- Tractor and machinery operation experience
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to teamwork
- Positive work ethic with a focus on safety and sustainability
