KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Construction Helper, you will:

General Construction Duties

  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Support demolition tasks and help dismantle building structures.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on job sites.
  • Remove rubble, debris, and waste materials.
  • Assist skilled tradespeople as required to complete construction tasks safely and efficiently.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Requirements

  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Strong attention to safety and ability to follow instructions.
  • Basic understanding of construction tools and materials.
  • Reliability and willingness to work in a physical outdoor environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
