Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise public facilities, buildings, and beach areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of high-touch surfaces including taps, sinks, handrails, door handles, and toilets.
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
- Conduct outdoor cleaning duties including rubbish collection, leaf blowing, and water blasting.
- Restock consumables like soap, toilet paper, and hand towels.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Represent Green by Nature NZ and the Auckland District Council in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
- Full Class 1 driver’s licence (manual capability preferred).
- Ability to work independently and maintain high attention to detail.
- Good physical fitness for manual and outdoor work.
- Flexibility to work on a Tuesday to Sunday roster during afternoon shifts.
- Commitment to health and safety practices.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
