Responsibilities
As a Cleaner at Uniting Griffith, you will play a vital role in supporting the health and wellbeing of our residents by delivering high-standard cleaning and hotel services. Your responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning resident rooms, communal areas, bathrooms, and other facility spaces in line with hygiene and infection control guidelines
- Assisting with general laundry duties including washing, drying, and folding
- Supporting kitchen and catering staff as required
- Ensuring cleaning supplies are maintained and stored correctly
- Following safety procedures and reporting any hazards or incidents promptly
- Creating a warm and respectful environment that aligns with our Household Living model
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Certificate II in Hospitality or similar qualification (desirable)
- Previous experience in a cleaning, kitchenhand, or community care role (preferred)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Check
- Willingness to undergo Reference Checks and comply with Uniting’s child-safe policies
- Legal right to work in Australia
