OVERVIEW OF LANGUAGE, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE
Brookdale Ltd welcomes applicants who meet the following criteria:
Languages Required:
- English (Fluent)
Education & Experience:
- Experience in poultry or chicken farming preferred but not essential
- Some experience operating farm machinery is a plus
- Full NZ Driver’s License required
- Must be a NZ citizen, resident, or have a valid NZ work visa
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Broiler Poultry Farm Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the Farm Manager in the daily care and welfare of chickens
- Managing and maintaining farm sheds and equipment
- Monitoring animal health and reporting issues promptly
- Performing cleaning, feeding, and basic maintenance duties
- Ensuring compliance with biosecurity and animal welfare regulations
- Supporting general operations and seasonal farm activities
- Occasionally working in other areas of the business as required

WORK ENVIRONMENT
