KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Security Guard with Best Guard Security Inc., your duties will include:
- Monitoring and securing construction sites during overnight shifts.
- Patrolling premises to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access.
- Checking vehicles, personnel, and equipment entering and leaving the site.
- Reporting suspicious activity and safety hazards promptly.
- Maintaining accurate and timely security logs and incident reports.
- Using communication tools (smartphones, radios) to stay in contact with supervisors.
- Standing or walking for long periods in various weather conditions.
- Ensuring all security operations meet company and site safety standards.

This role involves:
- Working outdoors at an active construction site.
- Standing or walking for extended periods during overnight weekend shifts.
- Using mobile devices and communication tools for reporting.
- Performing duties independently while maintaining professionalism and alertness.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will have:
- A valid Ontario Security Guard Licence (Required)
- A valid Driver’s Licence and own vehicle (Required)
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certification (Required)
- Strong communication and technology skills (mobile device and radio use)
- Professional attitude and ability to remain calm under pressure
- TCP (Traffic Control Person) experience (an asset)
- No criminal background
- Reliability and punctuality for overnight and weekend shifts
