Job Responsibilities
As a Welder, your primary role is to support the plant’s maintenance and operational needs through high-quality welding, fitting, and metal fabrication work.
You will:
- Perform welding, metal fitting, and fabrication tasks based on engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Ensure the safety, functionality, and structural integrity of plant equipment and systems.
- Handle fabrication and repair of steel structures, piping systems, and components.
- Conduct proper assembly and installation of process and structural piping systems.
- Apply various welding techniques such as SMAW, MIG, TIG, and oxy-acetylene welding.
- Follow all safety protocols and quality standards.
- Assist in monitoring welding tool inventory and report consumable levels to the supervisor for replenishment.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the work area.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:
- TESDA National Certificate: NC II or NC III in Welding or a related field
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in industrial welding and fabrication (preferred)
- Familiarity with pipe fitting and welding in both structural and process piping systems
- Knowledge and practical experience in SMAW, MIG, TIG, and oxy-acetylene welding methods
- Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings and fabrication layouts
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks in an industrial environment
- Open to fresh graduates with strong technical skills and certification
