🧾 Job Summary
As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and order of guest rooms and public areas. Working under the supervision of Housekeeping Supervisors, you will adhere to hotel policies and standards to ensure every guest experiences a spotless and pleasant stay.
🧰 Key Responsibilities
- Collect keys and daily assignments; prepare trolleys and equipment to complete tasks efficiently without delays
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, replenishing supplies per the hotel’s Standards of Performance
- Thoroughly clean bathrooms and replenish toiletries, following safety and performance standards
- Arrange and tidy guest belongings during cleaning to ensure respect and care
- Coordinate with Valet Service for guest laundry, dry cleaning, and pressing requests to enhance guest satisfaction
- Clean guest corridors, service pantries, and other service areas, maintaining a professional and organized appearance
- Report any maintenance or repair needs promptly to the Engineering Department
- Anticipate and respond to guest needs with courtesy and professionalism in all assigned areas
- Follow all environmental, health, and safety policies as outlined by the hotel
✅ Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles is preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties including lifting and standing for long periods
- Good communication skills and a courteous attitude towards guests and colleagues
