KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Security Guard at Magnum Protective Services Ltd., you will:
- Patrol assigned areas to maintain safety and security
- Enforce regulations, resolve conflicts, and monitor establishment activities
- Check age identification of patrons where required
- Operate security control room equipment
- Prevent and detect theft or shoplifting in retail environments
- Assist clients and guests with special needs
- Report incidents promptly and accurately
- Uphold professionalism while ensuring a secure environment

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This role involves:
- On-site work at various locations in Toronto
- Rotating shifts (early mornings, days, evenings, nights, weekends, and on-call)
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods
- Working independently while remaining part of a reliable team
REQUIRED SKILLS & CAPABILITIES
Magnum Protective Services is seeking candidates who have:
- A valid Security Guard License (mandatory)
- Secondary (high school) graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
- Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and exercise sound judgment in stressful situations
- Reliability and a strong sense of responsibility
- Own transportation (public transportation also available)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime
