KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Restaurant Cashier at Chicken Delight, you will:
- Operate the cash register and process payments (cash, cheque, debit/credit)
- Scan items and tabulate total payments for goods and services
- Reconcile daily or shift payments with total sales
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service
- Accept reservations or take-out orders
- Wrap or bag merchandise and food items
- Stock shelves and maintain a clean counter/work area
- Monitor entrances/exits and verify proof of payment when required
- Participate in promotional activities and engage in suggestive selling

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This role involves:
- On-site work in a busy restaurant setting
- Direct interaction with customers throughout shifts
- Hands-on cashiering, customer service, and light stocking duties

REQUIRED SKILLS & CAPABILITIES
Chicken Delight is seeking candidates who have:
- No degree, certificate, or diploma (required)
- Cashier or customer service experience (an asset, not mandatory)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle cash and payments accurately
- Flexibility to work shifts or on-call as needed
- A customer-focused attitude with willingness to learn
