Aries Renovation Ltd. welcomes applicants who meet the following criteria:
Languages Required
- English
Education & Experience
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required
- Previous construction experience an asset, but will train motivated candidates
Training
- On-the-job training provided
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Construction Worker at Aries Renovation Ltd., your duties will include:
- Loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials
- Erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, and barricades
- Mixing, pouring, and spreading concrete and asphalt
- Assisting with framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
- Leveling earth to fine grade specifications
- Assisting with demolishing buildings and clearing debris
- Cleaning and piling salvaged materials
- Performing routine site maintenance
- Directing traffic at or near construction sites
- Cleaning up chemical spills and other contaminants
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This role will involve:
- Working full-time on-site at various construction sites
- Performing physically demanding tasks such as lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs), bending, crouching, and repetitive movements
- Outdoor work in noisy and dusty conditions
- Working at heights and under pressure with tight deadlines
- Supporting environmentally sustainable construction projects (green job contribution)
