OVERVIEW OF LANGUAGE, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE
Maplepoint Multi Solutions Inc. welcomes applicants who meet the following criteria:
Languages Required
- English (oral and written, ability to follow instructions)
Education & Experience
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required
- 1 to less than 7 months of painting experience preferred
- On-the-job training provided
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Painter at Maplepoint Multi Solutions Inc., your duties will include:
- Preparing, cleaning, and sanding surfaces to be painted
- Repairing cracks, holes, and other surface imperfections
- Mixing paint to achieve the desired color and texture
- Measuring, cutting, and applying wallpaper or fabric to walls
- Advising customers on color choices and wall coverings
- Erecting scaffolding and swing stages; attaching rigging where required
- Applying paint, wallpaper, and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces
- Estimating material and cost requirements for projects
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This role will involve:
- Working full-time on-site (no remote option)
- Performing physically demanding tasks such as lifting and climbing
- Using hand-eye coordination and color distinction skills
- Working in various indoor and outdoor environments
- Collaborating with clients and team members to complete projects
REQUIRED SKILLS AND CAPABILITIES
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Strong hand-eye coordination
- Physical stamina and the ability to handle demanding tasks
- Ability to distinguish between colors accurately
- Flexibility and reliability on-site
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
