Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on steel, aluminum, and other metal materials according to technical drawings and welding procedures.
• Set up and operate MIG welding equipment, ensuring proper voltage, wire feed, and gas flow settings.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding symbols accurately.
• Inspect finished welds to ensure they meet required strength, quality, and safety standards.
• Conduct basic maintenance and cleaning of welding equipment and tools.
• Follow all workplace safety policies and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Collaborate with fabrication and production teams to complete projects within specified deadlines.
• Perform welding tasks in various positions, including horizontal, vertical, and overhead.
• Work overtime when required based on project needs and workload.

Requirements

• Must be currently available in Qatar with a valid QID and transferable NOC (mandatory).
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience working as a MIG Welder.
• Strong knowledge of MIG welding techniques, materials, and procedures.
• Experience working in fabrication shops or industrial projects is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings with minimal supervision.
• Trade certification or diploma in welding or a related field is considered an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to follow safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.
