The successful candidate will assist residents with personal care, medication administration, and other supportive services while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational standards.

Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and eating.
- Provide support with mobility, ambulation, and transfers to ensure resident safety.
- Administer medications as assigned and maintain accurate medication records.
- Assist with meal preparation, laundry, and maintaining a clean living environment.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning resident areas.
- Observe and report any changes in residents’ health conditions or safety concerns to supervisors.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and resident observations.
- Protect residents’ confidential health information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in training sessions and follow all state healthcare regulations and safety standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least six months of experience as a caregiver, personal aide, or similar role (or equivalent life experience).
- CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or Medication Aide certification preferred.
- Ability to work part-time weekdays and rotating weekends, including holidays when required.
- Strong understanding of healthcare safety standards and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to follow resident care plans and healthcare procedures.
- Physical ability to assist residents with mobility and lift up to 50 pounds when necessary.
