Fish & Duck Sproat Lake Resort operates charter houseboats, on-site cabins, marina services, watercraft rentals, and resort amenities. Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain houseboats and guest accommodations to resort standards
- Perform housekeeping tasks including mopping, vacuuming, laundry, dusting, and window cleaning
- Clean kitchens, bathrooms, patios, BBQs, blinds, and guest living areas
- Make beds and replace linens, towels, and guest amenities
- Inspect rooms and report damages or maintenance issues to supervisors
- Remove and sort garbage, recycling, and laundry
- Ensure carts are stocked, organized, and equipment is well maintained
- Assist guests with requests and concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Attend daily housekeeping meetings and follow assigned schedules
- Follow safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks such as bending and lifting
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts
- Strong reliability and punctual attendance
- Proficient in English (verbal and written)
- Eligible to legally work in Canada (Citizens, Permanent Residents, or authorized Foreign Nationals)
- Driver’s licence is an asset
