Responsibilities
- Coordinate, assign, and supervise livestock workers, machinery operators, and farm labourers
- Supervise breeding programs and other livestock-related operations
- Monitor and enforce procedures related to animal health, crop health, and farm safety
- Oversee crop-related activities including planting, growing, and harvesting of grains
- Assist with maple syrup operations, including tree tapping in all weather conditions
- Move products during winter months and prepare items for shipment
- Ensure farm cleanliness and proper care of equipment
- Supervise maintenance of farm infrastructure, machinery, and supplies
- Perform general farm duties and other tasks as required
Requirements
- Strong punctuality and reliability
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 75 lbs
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends when required
- Not afraid of small animals
- Valid driver’s licence (asset)
