ABOUT THE ROLE
As a General Farm Worker, you will support the day-to-day care, growth, and harvesting of greenhouse tomatoes. This role involves physical, repetitive work in a hot and humid environment and requires strong attention to quality, speed, and safety.
You will perform a wide range of crop-care tasks including pruning, de-leafing, clipping, wrapping, harvesting, and packing. Consistency, teamwork, and a positive attitude are essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a General Farm Worker, you will:
- Perform crop-care tasks including pruning, clipping, de-leafing, wrapping, and harvesting.
- Pack and sort tomatoes according to quality standards.
- Work efficiently in a repetitive, fast-paced environment.
- Meet daily productivity and quality targets.
- Maintain cleanliness and follow all farm safety procedures.
- Operate tools and equipment as instructed.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members.
- Adapt to changing tasks based on production needs.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
In order to qualify for the job you need the following:
Minimum Requirements:
- Ability to work full-time Monday to Friday, plus occasional Saturdays.
- Physical ability to bend, twist, lift, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to work in a hot, humid greenhouse environment.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
Additional Requirements:
- As required by the employer.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in greenhouse or farm labour is an asset but not mandatory.
