Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work across residential and commercial sites.
- Work both independently and collaboratively with apprentices and other tradespeople.
- Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and compliance standards.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently.
- Maintain accurate documentation of completed work.
- Assist in mentoring and supporting apprentices.
Requirements
- Current NZ Electrical Registration and practicing license.
- Legal right to work in New Zealand (residency or valid work visa required).
- Full, clean NZ driver’s license.
- Physically fit, reliable, and able to manage time effectively.
- Willingness to work occasional overtime or weekends.
- Strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and quality workmanship.
Skills
- Excellent technical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of both residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and specifications.
